Painted Primitive Work Table

Item Details

An antique painted work table, possibly used in a bakery. This table features a raised perimeter around the table with an unpainted wood work surface and two drawers underneath featuring hand-cut dovetail joinery with space for rolling pins or other tools on the sides. The drawers are fitted with large wooden knobs. The table stands on straight 2 X4 legs ending in casters and joined by side stretchers holding a plank shelf.
