A color rotogravure reproduction on paper after the original 1770 Rococo oil painting by listed British artist Thomas Gainsborough (1727-1788). This print depicts a young boy wearing a blue jacket and pants posing in a green landscape. The print is titled and signed in-plate along the bottom margin and it is housed in a painted wooden frame with off-white matting. To the verso of the print is a pamphlet with information about a rivalry between Sir Joshua Reynolds (1723-1792) and Gainsborough which challenged Gainsborough to create his work The Blue Boy.
