An oil painting on canvas of a desert scene. This Impressionist style painting depicts a traveling party of robed figures walking along a sandy foreground, as one pulls the reigns of a camel who lifts up its head with a shriek. To the distance is an Indo-Persian style townscape obscured by a sandstorm. Found to the lower left corner of the composition is a painted, illegible signature. The painting is wrapped over a wooden stretcher.
