An early 20th Century sterling silver magnifying glass by Sheffield silversmiths Harrison Brothers & Howson. This piece features a hollow pistol handle connected to a round open frame. The frame features beaded edges and houses a magnified glass insert. The bolster is marked with a ‘GH’ in a cartouche for Harrison Brothers & (George) Howson (used between 1898-1955), a crown city mark for Sheffield, a lion passant for sterling, and an illegible date mark.
