Item Details
A semi-antique handwoven Kazak wool accent rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of sepia, terracotta, gold, ivory, indigo, and ochre. The sepia colored field features two unique star medallions, along with ram’s horn motifs. Framing the field are multiple borders including rectilinear medallion and diamond repeated borders, a full laleh abbasi border, and a crenelated and laleh abbasi border, along with checked guard borders. Finishing the rug are double overcast selvedges and a natural warp fringe to the ends. Unlabeled.
