A vintage Hepplewhite style chest on chest by John Wanamaker. This two piece chest is made of mahogany and mahogany veneer with the upper cabinet having three long drawers each drawer fitted with two oval embossed brass plates with pulls and resting within a lip of molding, the lower cabinet having two long drawers with the same plates and pulls; the entire cabinet on four French bracket feet with a shaped skirt in between. Marked on the back of the upper chest with a paper label: John Wanamaker Philadelphia New York.
