Antique Victorian Eastlake Style Marble Top Dresser with Mirror
Item Details
An antique Victorian Eastlake style dresser in walnut with marble top. The arched mirror sits in an elaborate beveled and burled frame with carved and burled center ornament at the top center, and with candle shelves at either side, above the curled corners accented by leaf carvings. It has a white marble top with grey veining, on a chest with three stacked drawers, which have hand cut dovetail joints. The chest has carved, curved corbels at the top and bottom of the angled stiles, with burl veneer between. Each drawer has a veneer front with styled, carved center appliqué, which hold an escutcheon and is flanked by brass ring pulls on circular plates. The dresser has a molded plinth base raised on casters. It comes with two skeleton keys.
