Vintage Phoenix China Lusterware Tea Service
Item Details
A vintage porcelain luster tea service from Phoenix China, Czechoslovakia. These items are decorated with bold bands of orange and violet luster glaze with a thin black line dividing the colors. The group includes ten teacups, six saucers, six dessert plates, four snack plates with well for teacup to sit, a teapot, a creamer and a lidded sugar bowl. The majority of the pieces are marked ‘Phoenix China Cecho Slovakia’ with at least one being marked, ‘Hand Painted Made in Japan.’
Condition
- faint surface marks present from prior use; minor chips may be found on some pieces.
