East Asian Porcelain Vase

An East Asian porcelain floral and bird motif vase. This vase has a square rim descending to a four sided body enhanced with floral designs throughout in a palette of purple, yellow, orange-red, and light blue on a cobalt ground. It boasts large bird motifs to the center of its four sides outlined in gold gilt and black frame on a white ground. Its flared base and rim are decorated in a geometric pattern with gold gilt trim to the edges. The vase is marked to the verso.

- some surface residue; surface wear to the underside.
