Item Details
An oil painting on board titled Malibu by listed artist Eric Gibberd (American, 1872 – 1972), dated 1950. The work depicts a Hawaiian beach scene with a row of buildings dwarfed by hills. Signed and dated to the lower left corner. Signed and titled by the artist to the verso. Additional gallery and descriptive labels are present to the verso. Housed in a wood frame with a linen liner. Gibberd was known for his modernist style landscape paintings and woodcuts.

- minor wear to the corners and edges of the frame.
