East Asian Inspired Cast Brass Figure with Handled Vessel

Item Details

An East Asian-inspired cast brass figure. The piece depicts a robed male figure crouching forward as he holds a handled vessel in both hands. The figure rests on an asymmetrical base, lined with felt to the underside. The work appears to be marked in mold to the base; however, no signature was found.

Condition

- abrasion to the back of one of the figure’s sleeves; overall minor edge wear, accretion, markings, scratches and scuffing present throughout.
