A hand tufted Indian Windsor wool area rug by Oriental Weavers. This rug is from the Sphinx Collection and is rendered in a palette of ivory, burnt ochre, sage, gold, crimson, mocha, sky blue, and sepia. The field features irregular color blocks with each block infilled with elaborate floral motifs, medallions, and/or palmettes. Finishing the rug are serged edges and a cotton binding and backing. Labeled ‘Sphinx by Oriental Weavers, Windsor, 100% Wool, Made in India, Hand-tufted’.
