A portrait of a bearded man and a reproduction print after listed artist Harrison Fisher’s (1875-1934) Portrait of Hiawatha, originally made as an illustration for Henry Wadsworth Longfellow’s The Song of Hiawatha. The portrait depicts an older man with a wiry beard and is detailed with gouache, as well as what appears to be black and white conte crayon. The print depicts a Native American figure in a feathered headdress, and is signed in-plate toward its right side. Both works are presented in wooden frames under mats and protective glazing, the mixed media portrait with a wire for hanging to its verso.

- fair; dust and accretion to glazing; wear and discoloration throughout frames.
