Reproduction Soapstone Bust After Desiderio da Settignano "A Little Boy"
Item Details
An Alva Museum Replicas reproduction soapstone bust after an original work titled A Little Boy (circa 1455/1460) by Florentine artist Desiderio da Settignano. The original bust is made from marble and is currently housed at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC. This sculpture, rendered in white soapstone depicts a young boy with soft facial features, wearing a draped garment. To the underside is felt padding and a label with additional information on this work.
