A mid to late 20th-century watercolor and gouache painting on paper by an anonymous artist. The work depicts a bucolic landscape scene with a glassy lake surrounded by white birch trees and green vegetation, set against mottled brown skies. The unsigned piece is matted in cream and presented under glass in a distressed off-white wooden frame with hanging wire mounted to the verso.

- discoloration to paper and matting; scratches, scuffing, chips, edge wear and accretion to frame; debris present under glass; moisture stains and discoloration to frame backing.
