Item Details
An original oil on academy board painting by well regarded Cincinnati artist Charles Townshend. A longtime member of the Cincinnati Art Club, Townsend famously studied under William Forsyth. This is a wonderfully representational painting, with soft strokes. Presented in a marvelous gilt wood frame, with a single white mat to edge. Signed by the artist to the lower left hand corner.
Condition
Small chip to frame at the bottom right hand corner.
