The reverse indicates this watercolor on board depicts the slave Margaret Garner as portrayed by an opera singer at the Ciincinnati symphony opera on July 20, 2005. Signed ‘Bathiany’ to the lower right. The art is mounted in a bronze relief and gold tone composite frame, under glass with three warm tone mats. It includes a rear wire and is ready to hang.
