Item Details

A hand-painted Chinese flagon. This piece is decorated with blue and red floral motifs accented in gilt against a white body. It has a fitted, domed lid decorated with a blue yunwen meander, an elongated spout connected to the neck; and a scroll handle. There are no discernible maker’s marks.

Condition

- discoloration and signs of wear consistent with use; minor chipping to the finish on the base; wear to the gilt; could benefit from cleaning.
