This original acrylic landscape painting on canvas of Marmont Hill, on the Mediterranean coast of France. It depicts a colorful coastal inlet scene. The verso includes a pencil annotation by the artist ‘Colliure, France. Birthplace of ’Les Fauves’ – Matisse 1905.’ The art also includes a certificate of authenticity that is mounted to the verso. It is presented in a gold tone and black composite frame with a gold tone and linen border. It includes a rear wire and is ready to hang.
