A hand-knotted Chinese carved wool area rug. This rug is rendered in a creamy ivory, lavender, sky blue, sand, rust, and camel. The field features a central medallion with a sculpted dragon surrounded with a band of clouds, along with a dragon to each corner. The field is framed in a minimalist manner with Chinese fret medallions, and finished with overcast selvedges and an extended natural warp knotted fringe to the ends. Unlabeled.
