Antique East Asian Porcelain Bowls
Item Details
A pair of antique East Asian porcelain bowls. Included is a bowl with a blue and brown dragon to the well, framed by a rim replete with repeating geometric motif. It is accented with blue bands and spontaneous decoration to the base, but bears no discernible maker’s mark. It is presented on a wooden stand. It is accompanied by a second bowl with a sawtooth edge to the rim, decorated with a blue rooster to the well and trailing floral vines throughout. The underside is similarly decorated and is signed with a series of six characters.
Condition
- to fair; minor marks and glazing imperfections throughout; some residue present to base of one bowl; items would benefit from cleaning.
