Frank Lloyd Wright Reproduction Window and Photographic Slide Portrait
Item Details
A pairing of Frank Lloyd Wright items, including a reproduction stained glass window and a photographic slide portrait. The window is a vertically oriented (frame: 13 1/2′ × 6 1/2’) adaptation of the skylights found in the 1897 studio attached to Wright’s Oak Park Home. The colors are applied to a single sheet of clear glass, housed in a soldered metal frame with two holes pierced to top for hanging; a small plaque to verso marked, ‘Frank Lloyd Wright Collection Product, Authorized by the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation’ and a facsimile of Wright’s signature. Also included, is a 2′ × 2′, 35 mm, black and white slide of seated Wright taken at Taliesin, 1956, by photographer Alfred Eisenstaedt; label attached to slide frame lists reference library information.
