A signed, limited edition lithgoraph by well-listed Modernist wildlife artist Ikki Matsumoto (Tokyo/Cincinnati/Sanibel Island; 1934 – 2014). The print depicts a cropped view of a bird, seen from behind. It is peeking over its shoulder and its feathers are on full display. This piece is signed and marked with a red seal within the plate to the upper right. It is signed and marked with Asian characters by hand to the lower right margin, and numbered 82 out of an edition of 100 to the lower left margin. Presented behind a pink mat with a red liner, under glass, in a white washed pale wood frame. A hanging wire is present to the verso.

Matsumoto attended the Art Academy of Cincinnati in 1957 to study under Charley Harper.
