These colorful pieces include a rendering of marshy water filled with clumps of greenery, a line of dark-roofed houses visible along the horizon, and a bright painting of herons flying over flowers against a patchwork sky. Both paintings include red signature seals and lines of calligraphic text, and are presented unframed and without protective coverings.
