Item Details
An oil painting on canvas board titled Black Forest by listed American artist Albert Blaetter (1878 – 1930). The representational painting depicts a stream traveling through a forested autumn landscape. A soft light illuminates the tranquil scene. This piece is signed in black to the lower right. The painting is housed in a neutral frame with a distressed finish, behind beige linen and silver tone liners. A hanging wire and a label with the artist’s name and the title are present to the verso.
