Item Details
A pair of antique European miniature oil paintings on board. The images depict rolling green hills and thick forests under night skies, one has a woman sitting under a large tree staring out toward the moon lit city while the other features a man inside a quaint wood cabin nestled on a hill top and another man kneeling outside the window, it is signed to the left corner ‘pinx 13’. These paintings are mounted in wood frames with acanthus leaves decorating four corners in a gold-tone finish with wire hanging hardware to the verso.
Condition
- minor crackle to surface of both paintings; loss of paint to surface of painting featuring lone woman; minor wear to frames.
