An assortment of intaglio etchings on paper from 1812 titled In His Majesty’s Collection after original drawings by Hans Holbein The Younger (German/Swiss, 1497-1543). This collection includes six etchings, each featuring portraits of ch. Southwell Knight, Sir George of Cornwall, Tho. Wiatt Knight, Edward VI, Ann of Cleve, and a young Prince Edward. Each of the etchings features in-plate text with the name of the person portrayed, the name of the original artist, Holbein, to the lower left, the name of the engraver, Cooper, Nicholls, or A. Cardon Sc., to the lower right, and the title along the bottom center. Additional publisher information is printed along the bottom including the date 1812. The prints are presented unframed behind window mats.
