A grouping of four reproduction prints on paper of ornithological studies after French naturalist Jean-Theodore Descourtilz (1796 – 1855). These pieces depict birds with flashy plumage perched on branches and feeding on fruit, rendered in vibrant colors on the white of the paper. The species name and publication information is included in plate beneath each image, and one is presented in a window mat. These prints are unframed.
Condition
- slight bending to some of the prints not in a window mat; edge wear throughout; some marks, stains and discoloration to window mat.
