A selection of three color lithographs after original illustrations by French artist Auguste Racinet (1825-1893) for his work L’Ornement Polychrome. These illustrations depict colorful ornamentation in different styles including a collection of Renaissance style trims with floral medallions, arabesques, and festoons, a pair of Chinese-style floral illustrations, and French painted architectural details. These pieces have the lithographers’ and publishers’ names printed to the lower corners. They are presented in mats and unframed.
