Antique Chinese Hand Painted Porcelain Plate 1780-1800

Item Details

An antique Chinese export plate. This porcelain plate is decorated with polychrome enamels painted floral and foliate design with blue reserves having gilded embellishment within. The verso of the porcelain plate is not marked by the manufacturer as was typical for Chinese porcelain of this type during this period. It is marked ‘Lowestoft Circa 1780’ in marker.

Condition

- some staining, the back of the plate has writing in black marker and reads “Lowestoft Circa 1780”
