A reproduction print on paper of a woman writing most likely after Ukiyo-e artist Kitagawa Utamaro (1753 – 1806). This reproduction after an original woodblock print depicts a beautiful woman with her hair down and wearing a flower printed kimono carefully contemplating her words as she writes. The work is inscribed in Japanese to the right. It is presented behind a mauve mat with a gold tone liner, behind glass, in a gold tone wooden frame with a hanging wire to the verso.

- some scratches to the frame.
