A lithograph on paper of an etching by Nicolas de Larmessin of an original painting by Nicolas Lancret (1690 – 1743) titled Les oyes de frère Philippe. This print depicts a two women and their servant crossing the path of a man and a monk. Mounted under olive green matting, the print is presented under glass in a gold tone gesso and wood frame with an acanthus leaf design in each corner. No hanging hardware is present to the verso.
