Oil Paintings on Board of Floral Arrangements
Item Details
A pair of oil paintings on board of floral arrangements. These two paintings depict central bouquets of overflowing, pastel and warm toned flowers, one of which is loose, presented against a toned background, while the other depicts the flowers held in a vase beneath a cloudy sky. To the lower margins of each composition is a painted signature, the former of which appears to read ‘Yevrossa’, while the other is attributed to artist Van Thorem. The paintings are held in moulded, gold tone wooden frames while one painting features a handwritten inscription, dated 8/23/1972 to the verso.

- dust and dirt accretion to frame and painting; painted residue to frame verso; paper remnants to frame verso.
