A graphite drawing of a seated man attributed to listed artist William Benecke (1934 – 2001). This monochromatic drawing depicts a bearded man seated cross-legged, staring forward pensively with both hands clasped on his knees holding a cigarette. The composition is primarily composed of sketched, gestural linework slightly reinforced by shaded value. To the lower right corner is a handwritten signature. The drawing is presented under glass in a silver tone wooden frame with a typed tag to the verso.

- edge wear to frame; foxing present; slightly dusty.
