Oil Painting on Canvas of Gondola in Venetian Canal

A contemporary oil painting on canvas by an anonymous artist. The piece depicts a Venetian landscape scene with a gondola navigating a narrow canal. The unsigned work is presented without glass in a decorative wooden frame with floral gesso embellishments. A note to the back of the frame indicates that the piece was purchased in Venice circa 2000.
Condition
- to Fair; discoloration to painting at lower right; edge wear, nicks and scratches to frame; some gesso embellishments have broken off of frame; no hanging hardware.
