After Berkeley Hand Colored Lithographs on Paper

Two hand colored lithographs titled A Disgrace to His Family and A Credit to His Family after British illustrator Stanley Berkeley (1855-1909). Both of these prints depict images of a puppy coming home to his family in a barn. In one he hangs his head in shame, and in the other he returns triumphantly with a slain rat. Both prints are attributed to Berkeley in-plate in the lower left. They are presented under glass with layered mats in gold tone wood frames. Both prints include sawtooth hanging brackets mounted to the versos.
Condition
- some stains on the cloth mattes; gold tone wood frame showing nicks and scratches around the frame.
