A 19th-century chromolithograph print on paper by Lemoine titled Grand Salon from architect César Daly’s book L’Architecture Privée au XIXe Siècle. The piece depicts an elaborately designed interior wall, labeled to the center with ‘Grand Salon, Château des Crètes (Suisse) Elevation côte de la Glace, Par M.M. Laval Archte et Denuelle, Peintre-Decoratr’. It is matted and presented under glass in a gold tone wooden frame with foliate gesso embellishments, fitted with hanging wire to the verso.

Condition

- crease to center of paper; slight discoloration and foxing to print; nicks, edge wear and scratching to frame.
