An antique Johnson Brothers earthenware pitcher. The pitcher features a bold red stripe and small black stripes on a white field with a wide spout and molded feather and floral accents to the curved handle. The pitcher is marked ‘Johnson Bros. Late Pankhurst & Co.’ placing production in 1883, when the new company started manufacturing at Charles Street Works in Hanley.
