A mixed media collage by Leslie Emery (1912-1998). This abstract mixed media work features soft watercolors with tissue paper in shades of cream, white and rose. The piece is rendered on 100% rag paper, mounted to a linen background and signed and dated in graphite to the lower right ‘L. Emery 1986’. It is presented behind a cream mat behind glass in a gold tone wooden frame. Leslie Emery was a British born American artist known for her watercolor paintings with pastels, colored pencils and collaged elements. Artist information is attached to verso.
