A watercolor on paper by Barbara Pugsley (1939-present). This landscape work depicts a steamboat passing women and a child in colonial style clothing on a river bank with a horse and carriage in the distance. The piece is signed in graphite to the lower right ‘Barbara Hess Pugsley’. It is presented behind a yellow mat behind glass in a pink tone wooden frame with carved details. Barbara Pugsley is a contemporary American artist originally from Detroit, Michigan known for her watercolor, oil and acrylic paintings.
