Edward Wormley for Dunbar Dining Set

Item Details

A vintage Mid Century Modern dining set, by designer Edward Wormley for Dunbar Furniture. It includes a table with a circular tawi wood tabletop, on square mahogany legs with a dark stained finish and brass capped feet. It can be expanded with one included insert leaf. Six chairs are also included, in mahogany with a dark finish, and having caned panels to the backs and fabric upholstered seats with a white, beige, and golden yellow geometric pattern. The chairs are marked to the underside.

Condition

- moderate scuffs and scratches consistent with age, and a subtle crackle effect to the finish of the tabletop.

- the table without the insert leaf, which adds 15" to width for a total of 69".
