Hand-Knotted Persian-Inspired Wool Accent Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian-inspired wool accent rug. The rug has been worked in shades of claret, camel, sand, charcoal gray, midnight , ivory, olive, taupe, and chrysanthemum. The wine field is infilled with large palmettes and flower and leaf motifs connected by arabesques. The guard borders, featuring carnation and meander patterns, flank a primary border with buff ground populated with delicate blossoms and scrolled designs. There is a short woven skirt and cotton fringe at each end. The rug is not marked.
