A pair of chromolithographs on paper titled Awakening and A Little Bit of Heaven by Golden Age American illustrator Bessie Pease Gutmann (1876-1960). These prints each depict an infant, with the first calmly waking from a nap and reaching one hand upwards and the second still in peaceful slumber. They are signed in plate to a lower corner and presented behind glass in painted wood frames with wire to the versos for hanging.

Condition

- to Fair; discoloration to both prints, deterioration with holes in paper to “Awakening” print; moderate wear to surface of frames; tears in paper backing.
