Vintage Birch German Shrunk

Item Details

A vintage birch German shrunk. This piece features a rectangular top with molded trim overhanging two central cabinet doors with glass panes flanking a burled veneer panel with applied molding. The cabinet doors open to two glass shelves and sit above three stacked, dovetail joinery drawers with brass handles flanked by cabinet doors. This central unit is flanked by full length cabinet doors with applied decorative molding and brass escutcheons. The cabinet doors open with keys featuring tassels. This piece sits on short cabriole legs joined by a shaped apron with carved detail. There are no visible maker’s marks. For a similar piece, see item 17DAL216-156.
