A handwoven signed Polish Cepelia wool and flax accent rug. This artisan’s rug is rendered in a palette of earth tones including camel, ivory, charcoal, deep brown, ochre, and gold. It features a camel and ivory colored field with a modern design covered in an array of foliate motifs, and signed ‘KD’ to the lower left. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges with folded ends, along with a plush underside, which is characteristic of the weaving process. It is labeled in Polish; ‘Cepelia’ translates to ‘Art Shop.’
