Hand-Knotted Bokhara Wool Accent Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Bokhara wool accent rug. The finely knotted rug has been worked in shades of black, ivory, persimmon, blush, mustard, and ashes of roses. It features three guls set into a frame of densely patterned floral and geometric motifs. The compound borders include guard borders infilled with lozenges and flowers while the primary border has a strong pattern of combs in alternating color arrangements. There is a short lattice skirt and fringe at each end. The selvedges are overcast and the rug is not marked.
