A hand-knotted Chinese Persian Style wool area rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of cranberry, terracotta, indigo, azure, ivory, sepia, and mocha. The cranberry colored field features an all-over herati pattern while framed in a main herati terracotta colored border, along with carnation meander guard borders. Finishing the rug are overcast selvedges and a thick natural warp fringe to the ends. Labeled to the underside.
