An extra-long Bokhara carpet runner made in Pakistan for Mashall Field’s. This wool rug is hand-knotted in a palette of cream, caramel, and navy blue. It features an open-lattice design incorporating two vertical rows of tribal elephant’s foot Tekke medallions interspersed with smaller, Chemche motifs over a cream-colored field. The field is framed by compound borders, the widest of which features a geometric repeating pattern over cream. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing at each end with knotted, cream-colored cotton warp fringe. It is labeled on the reverse.
