Vintage Oak-Grained Dining Table with Chairs by Victoriaville Furniture Company

Item Details

A vintage dining table with extension leaves, with six chairs, by Victoriaville Furniture Company, Victoriaville, Quebec. These oak pieces have quarter-sawn grain roller printed to plain grain veneer, giving them a rich coloring. The circular table has a plain apron, and stands on a square pedestal base with curved legs stretching down the length of each corner, sloping out and curling over casters. It has three leaves that fit to the center to make it an oval top. It comes with protective pads, and is marked with the maker’s paper tag to the underside.
The six armless chairs have straight crest rails with curved accent to the underside, over tall center splats with vasiform detail at the base, set between plain block stiles. The square seats are upholstered in black leatherette. The tapering block legs end on pad feet, and connect to the back saber legs with an H-stretcher.
