Gorham "Strasbourg" Sterling Silver Flatware in Mahogany Chest

A selection of vintage sterling silver flatware in the 1897 Strasbourg pattern, designed by William C. Codman, from Gorham. This group includes sixteen pieces, featuring two teaspoons, two place spoons, two dinner forks, a gravy ladle, a salad serving fork, two salad forks, a hollow handle pie server with a stainless steel blade, a pierced tablespoon, a sugar spoon, and two hollow handle dinner knives with stainless steel blades. Each utensil are all marked, ‘Gorham Sterling’ and the lot also includes a hollow handle cake breaker. These piece are presented in a Reed & Barton mahogany stained wood flatware chest with a brown cloth lining.
